DESCRIPTION

The volumetric integration in public and living space university has always represented the sports complex at the University of Barcelona, is a very important requirement and the starting point of this proposal by the succession and alternation of spaces at different heights and alignments. The linking up of these spaces and public activities derived, allowing the plot optimization.

This proposal represents four bodies adapt to the peculiarity edificatory formal plot, the use and accessibility requirements for each of the areas, to release own outdoor spaces for residential building, to the insertion of new spaces for sports , and the search for identity formulation itself.

An important volume arising from the application of functional program requirements, it is certainly a building of urban scale, and significant in the landscape view of the city. We establish a model for the exterior walls where the supporting structure of a building envelope participates actively develops information that the site according to the requirements and potential.
